"Home is where children find safety and security, where we find our identities, where citizenship starts. It usually starts with believing you're part of a community, and that is essential to having a stable home." Mathew Desmond

to wonderful and supportive man. I graduated in 2017 with BA in Psychology and currently working towards my master in Early Child Studies, Specialization in Administration Management and Leadership.
As I was growing up I could see children of my age in all around the world struggling to go to school because of their circumstances. It’s always been my goal in life to become an early year’s teacher and see children achieve their ambitions. Helping them to achieve what they want in life is a big ambition of mine.

My purpose for seeking a master Degree in
Early Childhood Education is to expand my knowledge of theory and research
methods as it pertains to education. I especially want to focus my research
skills as I feel that the importance of gaining research skills is important in becoming a lifelong learner and developing intellectual self-actualization
as I prepare myself for a professional career in Early Child Education. I
realize the importance of gaining credibility among my future colleagues and
people that I will be serving in the field. My professional career goal is to open my own none profit child program.

How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk
I recommend this book to all parents and teachers working with kids. This book has some mazing techniques for how to change your language with young children. I have also used some of the methods with the kids in my class and it works. Children just want to feel heard!
My
mother is the sweetest person I've ever met and anyone who meets her will feel
her love. She nurtured me with empathy, she taught me to be responsible and
patient.
Personal
Childhood Web
She is
intensely loyal to her family. Forgiving above all else to her family.
Family is everything to her and she influences me till today I took up to her
to raise my baby boy with the same values that she taught me. She is a hard
workingwomen and she influences me to work hard like her and love my family.
She makes me feel special when she says, “you are strong women and I trust and
believe in everything you do in life.”
My
dad is a caring and loving man. My father also influences the way I
approach life. I felt my dad care when everyday he made sure that I completed
my homework before my bedtime and helped me with my homework till high school.
I have gained not only knowledge, but have applied his teachings
to my life. Because of the example he has set for me, my father has provided
the steppingstone I need to achieve my goals so that I can lead a happy and
successful life.
My brother and best friend, he is younger than me 2 year. We grew
up together and have gone through some of the best times as well as some of the weirdest events. Because we
are so close in age we at times go through similar
problems as well as growing pains and it is always nice to know that there is someone to always have your back and
be on your side. I feel secure and special around my brother because I
know if I face any problem in my life, I can ask for his help. He is my backbone.
My grandmother is a strong women and she helped my mom to raise
me. My dad was in the army when I was a year old and my grandmother was my
mom’s helper. my
grandmother is a very important part of my life and who I am. She has played a
big in role in shaping my personality. I deeply admire her and her qualities. I
hope I can be as good as her; caring, understanding, kind, determined and
strong.
My
cousin and godmother is another person that influenced me as a child. I
remember my dad used to take me to their house and the first thing she asked me
to do is to give her energy by giving her a big hug. She made me feel special
and loved and that increased my self-stem, knowing that my hug will give her
energy.

Words of Motivation and Inspiration
"The preschool years are critical they are the first most fundamental period when children are in fact noticing who they are and are noticing the attitudes and the stereotypes and the discomforts or the positive messages about their skin color, their racial identity, their ethnic identity and so on."Louise Derman-Sparks

Code and Ethics
To
recognize and respect the unique qualities, abilities, and potential of each
child.
NAEYC code of ethics, it
explains my personal beliefs of children. As an early childhood educator, I
value each child individually and respect its
differences. I love to help children and learn through their unique strengths
and abilities. Through this ideal, I can create an environment that serves the
individual uniqueness of each child that will help the whole class benefit and
learn from each other and reach to their fullest potential.
To provide the community with
high-quality early childhood care and education programs and services.
I think high quality childcare is the most important qualities when
parents are looking for a child care for
their kids, it reduces their stress while they are at work. When your child has safe, loving, and stimulating child
care that you can count on, you don’t have to worry while you are at work. You
know that your child is getting the kind of care children need to be healthy,
happy, and successful.
We shall respect, value,
promote and encourage the active participation of all families by engaging
families in meaningful ways in the assessment and intervention processes.
I believe with parents are involved in the child school, the child will
learn better and love coming to school. Children’s self steam will be higher
when they see their parents are involved. Therefore, as educators we should encourage
parents to be involved in class activates and ask for volunteer.

Hi Naire,
ReplyDeleteI love Yoga too. It helps me destress, especially now when I am trying to manage my work and studies along with my family commitments. The breathing exercises help me feel calm and centered again.
I have read 'Siblings Without Rivalry' by the same authors and it was an interesting read.
Renuka
