My Support

My Family is my number one support and my relationship with my family has made me who I am today. Without my family, I would not know how to interact with people, or how to show love, a key to any relationship, and compassion. My strong and supportive family has also made me a more self-confident individual. Going through high school could easily have been some of hardest years of my life, but I was lucky enough to find a deep connection with my family. I have learned from family, laughed with family, and grown from family, and I hope that someday I can teach and support others the way my family has me.

I am part of mom’s group in the facebook. As a new mom or as the mother of more than one child, support from other women can be key to success during the early days with a newborn. Positive encouragement and reassurance from other mothers helped me meet my breastfeeding goals, Then there are times when i can’t figure out exactly what my son needs or he cries for no reason. For example, I had days with my son that I fed, changed and swaddled him, but he was still unhappy. Getting support from other moms can help ease the frustrations and troubleshoot what might be going on with baby.

One of the biggest benefits of support groups is meeting new moms and building new friendships. Another benefit is getting yourself and your baby out of the house to socialize with other moms can be a lifesaver. When you join a support group, your babies will be roughly the same age and may get to grow up together.
