World Forum Radio
It is shocking to hear in the World Forum Radio by Barnabus Otaala talking about children are HIV positive in the villages. Children and young people are to choose a lifestyle, which will protect them from the possibility of being infected with HIV; they must be given access to age-appropriate information and education on the disease. It is also important to educate adults so they can continue to care for their children with the appropriate medical, financial and psychological support. Regular HIV testing, treatment, monitoring and care for children living with HIV can enable them to live long and fulfilling lives. However, lack of necessary resources for testing and child-friendly prevention programs mean children continue to suffer the consequences of this deadly disease
To fight against HIV in children living in Villages, it needs to be awareness about the consequences of this deadly disses   Therefore. Professionals and educators have to partnership together to prevent HIV in children, Children are our future and we have to work together to educate them to have healthy community.

  1. Naire, when I read this, my heart goes out to these children. The choices of adults can affect our children in so many ways. I agree that there need to be something in place to help these children. They are born in this world with a disease that they didn't create. I hope that one day a cure is found.

  3. This is so heartbreaking for a child to have HIV. I can't even imagine. Hopefully one day there is a cure for this disease. When I think of HIV/AIDS, I immediately think of adults not an innocent child.

  4. Like Shaterica said, 'when I think of HIV/AIDS, I immediately think of adults not an innocent child'. I was disturbed reading your post but it is good to be informed of these situations. Awareness is necessary and I thank you for shedding light on the situation so I can do further research about it.
