My research simulation is
encouraging duel language learning in the early childhood field and its
important issue in diverse communities because most parents speak more than one
language and they want their children to speak the same languages and not loss
it. Therefore, providing duel language programs in early child cares will
benefit children to not forget their home language and learn English at the
same time. Many studies have shown Proving children dual
language programs in the childcares will benefit children and improves level of literacy among the students right from their
early age, and promotes wide range of vocabularies. Families and children will benefit from your efforts
to incorporate dual language teaching strategies that help guide young learners
as they acquire two or more languages. The rewarding experience of teaching
dual language learning will help children to grow developmentally with their
new language skills. Taking this course has definitely changed my perception
towards early childhood field. As an early childhood professional conducting a research
study in the field is important because it gives a clear explanation with data
about specific behavior or issues in the field of early childhood.

Sharing Web Resources I chose Association for Children Education International organization. ACEI is international organization and its belief that education is important for development. The focus of ACEI to educate all children , but their main focus is on meeting the education needs to the children that in need the most. Their work started in 1892 to promote kindergarten education in the United States and internationally. In 1930 their work expanded to promote education to primary school years. In their Global/ACEI news section “ Our Children Marching For Their Lives in the United States” caught my attention. Children in United States and around the world are marching to protest against gun violence in schools. The violence in today’s world has become ordinary and common. This violence causes number of deaths, injuries, pain and fear throughout the world. I have leaned from this article that children march for tow reasons, they march to express their emotion and also to show to th...
Testing For Intelligence I do not think that Standardized Testing correctly measures a student’s intelligence or academic level. Every one is different, and some test well, while others may not test as well. While they may differentiate as to a grade and tell whether or not you move on to the next grade, everyone learns at their own pace and processes things differently. I believe that it puts too much pressure and stress on students to do good on those tests like the SAT, ACT tests, etc. I don’t feel like you can gain anything from taking those tests because most of the questions that are on the test are the ones that you’ve never seen before or you’ve never even learned about in school. It shouldn’t have to play a role on smart the student is or determined their abilities. If I was the leader of the state’s Department of Education, I would advocate fewer standardized tests so that it doesn’t put a lot of pressure on the students to do well on them. In china China, all s...
