Young children are naturally curious about differences and one
of the ways they make sense of their world is to sort things into different
categories and focus on one thing at a time. Therefore my hope to families that
they talk with their children about differences allows them to feel good about whom
they are and appreciate diversity in themselves and others. My goal is to
support children and families from diverse backgrounds by promoting
understanding of and mutual respect for diversity. Children benefit when ECE do
this because it creates an inclusive environment where everyone can participate
and feel connected. A strong sense of belonging helps children understand and
appreciate differences in themselves and others, which ultimately benefits
their mental health and wellbeing.I
would like everyone in this course for your support and participation. You
comments and discussion posts were motivational and kept me going strong all
the way to the end.

"Home is where children find safety and security, where we find our identities, where citizenship starts. It usually starts with believing you're part of a community, and that is essential to having a stable home." Mathew Desmond

Based on my pervious experiences with working with different groups to achieve common goal, the high performing teams are harder to leave because high performing teams share common vision, goals and stand strong together towards challenges to achieve the desire goal. Its also hard to loose people that you established clear get attached to and share common vision. When there is a clear norm, Team relationships will be better and they respect and trust each other and the team stays focused on the vision. Team members become more flexible and interdependent on each other and communication improves. I mentioned in the discussion post about the great teamwork I experienced when I was the maid of honor of my friend. Planning her bridal shower with the bridesmaids is a great example of teamwork. We all worked towards one goal and to make the bride happy and making sure everything goes smooth. As a maid of honor, I wanted to make sure establishing a good relationship with ...
