For this blog post I picked the show The King of Queens and
it a show that I have never heard of it and watched. Therefore, it was a great
example to use for my blog post. When I watched the show with sound off, I was
amazed of how much I was able to understand without listening to their conversation.
The couple seemed like trying to solve some issues in their marriage and they
live together. They are not too happy with their relationship The husband seems
someone is driving an RV while he was driving his truck and he decides to buy
one . He had a big smile on his face and was super excited to tell his wife
once he gets home. It seemed like the wife didn’t like the idea, she walked
away when he told her. after arguing for many hours they decide to flip a coin.
They end up getting the RV. My assumptions were some correct; the couples were
going though some difficulties in their relationship and the RV was for
vacation he was planning for himself and his wife. However, the wife was not
happy with the idea because she was planning a vacation to Paris. I leaned that
nonverbal signals make up a huge part of communication. From our
facial expressions to our body movements, the things we don't say or
hear can still convey volumes of information.

Children in United States and around the world are marching to protest against gun violence in schools. The violence in today’s world has become ordinary and common. This violence causes number of deaths, injuries, pain and fear throughout the world. I have leaned from this article that children march for tow reasons, they march to express their emotion and also to show to th...
Testing For Intelligence I do not think that Standardized Testing correctly measures a student’s intelligence or academic level. Every one is different, and some test well, while others may not test as well. While they may differentiate as to a grade and tell whether or not you move on to the next grade, everyone learns at their own pace and processes things differently. I believe that it puts too much pressure and stress on students to do good on those tests like the SAT, ACT tests, etc. I don’t feel like you can gain anything from taking those tests because most of the questions that are on the test are the ones that you’ve never seen before or you’ve never even learned about in school. It shouldn’t have to play a role on smart the student is or determined their abilities. If I was the leader of the state’s Department of Education, I would advocate fewer standardized tests so that it doesn’t put a lot of pressure on the students to do well on them. In china China, all s...
