I have a friend who is an effective communicator,  and one of the behaviors that she exhibits that makes her great communicators having the  friendly and smile that  encouragers everyone around her to engage in a conversation with her for hours. It's important to be nice and polite in all types of communications. This is important in both face-to-face and written communication.
She is also confident in her interaction with others: therefore she makes everyone to believe in what she is saying. She is respectful, empathetic and great listener, I enjoy communicating with her because she gives me her full attention while I am talking to her and she shows empathy. For example she would say, “ I know what are you going through” and she tried to help with all her power. I world love to model her communication behavior because she has the skills that makes everyone around her to actively listen to her believe in her.

    Hi Naire,
    I also feel that being confident in interactions with others is also a great sign of a good communicator. Empathy is also a good characteristic of a good communicator. I am hoping one day to be a confident communicator like your friend. That is one characteristic that I feel like I am still lacking!

    Your friend sounds amazing. It is great to be surrounded with people like that in your life. You are fortunate to have a friend who really listens, cares, and gives you their full attention. I agree with Christine, empathy is a good characteristic of an effective communicator. She has a way of making people feel that she really cares and it is because she probably does. She seems like a genuine person. Thank you for sharing.

Testing For Intelligence  I do not think that Standardized Testing correctly measures a student’s intelligence or academic level. Every one is different, and some test well, while others may not test as well. While they may differentiate as to a grade and tell whether or not you move on to the next grade, everyone learns at their own pace and processes things differently. I believe that it puts too much pressure and stress on students to do good on those tests like the SAT, ACT tests, etc. I don’t feel like you can gain anything from taking those tests because most of the questions that are on the test are the ones that you’ve never seen before or you’ve never even learned about in school.
